Here is another legendary bear. The SOLID Brown Nose MC Beanie Bear. When the original brown nose emblem variations popped up, there were rumors that a solid black nose and solid brown nose variation existed that had gone out to bank executives. This turned out to not be the case. Ty did in fact create both a solid brown nose MC Beanie Bear edition, and a solid black nose MC Beanie Bear (separate post). It turns out Ty made only three (3) of the solid brown nose variety that also went out with the other original MC bears.
Interestingly, graders and the community had all but forgotten about the existence of this piece, until one surfaced a few years ago from a dealer. This piece was thought to be an oddity, until confirmation from Ty Inc. confirmed the piece had in fact been created and gone out. Surfaced below is the original certificate for the first graded solid (brown) nose MC Beanie variety from back in 2005. It is confirmed that Ty signed one solid brown nose example.
Rarity Tier: ELITE GHOST RARE
With only 3 examples made (confirmed by Ty), this piece is part of the elusive “Elite Ghost Rare” category (fewer than 6 pieces created). Unlike the light brown nose emblem and dark brown nose emblem MC Beanies, all three solid brown nose MC Bears have been recovered and are owned by very serious collectors with advanced collections.
