Ty is a big fan of symmetry. The SOLID Black Nose MC Beanie Bear is quite similar in story to the solid brown nose MC Beane Bear – Ty also made three (3) of the solid black nose variety that also went out with the other original MC bears. One was not officially graded until just a few years ago. It is confirmed that Ty signed one solid black nose example (pictured below).
There has in fact been a solid black MC Beanie in plain sight for many years – the original MC Beanie keychain! Ty ended up using the solid black nose on this smaller (common) piece. Do also remember the emblem on this guy. It will come back into focus with another rare bear to be discussed in a future post.
Rarity Tier: ELITE GHOST RARE
Also with only 3 examples made (confirmed by Ty), this piece is part of the elusive “Elite Ghost Rare” category (fewer than 6 pieces created). Like the solid brown nose MC beanie, all three solid black nose MC Bears have been recovered and are also owned by very serious collectors with advanced collections.
