The story and circumstances around this INCREDIBLE piece match that of the Jerry Garcia Patch Teddy we just reviewed. Ty made only six of the Treble Clef Garcia Patch bears – also sent out to six foundations near to Jerry and Company’s interests/following. This piece is also signed by Ty in gold, has a 3rd gen. hang tag, and sports a dark treble clef on its chest. Unfortunately, we have been unable to examine one of these pieces, so the exact coloring of the emblem is a bit unclear. These pieces went out the first week of September 1995.
Rarity Tier: GHOST Rare
Again, with only six, and all the previous stipulations (die-hard Dead Heads, enthusiastic tie-dyed beanie collectors), this bear can’t be beat. Ghost Rare status. Sadly, only one example of this bear has ever surfaced.
