Now isn’t this just insane? The production Chef Robuchon Bear is easily one of the most coveted and valuable beanie babies in the entire hobby. It even surpasses most elite prototypes. But Ty does like symmetry. If you take a look at the production Chef bear’s Chef Jacket, the tricolor collar comes in red, white, and blue. As with flag bear prototype symmetry (think Red Maple), we see Ty did in fact create a fully finished and realized version of the illustrious Chef Bear in blue!
This bear is complete with light blue bear, blue outfit trim, and blue menu. The piece has MQ advent tags and is signed by Ty!
Rarity Rank: -1. The most elite “-1” rarity must be given to a piece like this. It is a prototype for the most coveted piece. Not just a prototype, but a full departure, completely finished and polish by Ty! This piece checks every box. If you had to come up with the most coveted style to own a prototype for, and then carve out an alternative prototype design, it gets no better. And yes…Ty did do a prototype for this piece with the “red” theme as well. Very few prototypes in our eyes qualify as “-1” rank pieces. It isn’t that rank “0” et al. pieces aren’t as spectacular. The “-1” pieces are just examples of prototypes that command universal and undisputed supremacy in the hobby.
