Pastel Tie-Dyed Old Face and New Face teddy set! The colors especially on the old face teddy are so stunning. We see complete pax tags on each piece in this set – easy now to see the time and progression between each bear. Ty didn’t end up using pastel tie-dyed fabric until the pastel Peace bear that we first saw in the 5th generation. To think, we might have seen it as early as the first generation OF teddy!
Rarity Rank: 0. All four of these pieces are easy rank 0 pieces. Full departures for original 1st and 2nd generation styles. There is an argument that these could be kicked up to a higher rarity class given they are full color alternates for the original teddy bears of the beanie collection, which are among the most collected and coveted even today. The old face bears will all have 1992 pax hang tag dates, and the new face bears will have 1993 pax dates – so their age and notoriety are beyond reproach. An entire assembled set adds an additional WOW factor, on top of everything.
