This is the partner set to the Old Face Ribbon set from the previous post. A set of production colored original new face teddies. Complete with flocked noses in alternate colors, alternate colored ribbons and thread. The pax dates on these all hover around 12/95 – this puts this set at only about a month before the New Face examples were released to the public on 1.7.95. At this point, Ty had absolutely already settled on the colors he wanted to release, and was likely just having a bit of last minute fun with this set, or created this set to balance the parallel old face prototype teddy set with similar noses and ribbons.
Rarity Rank: 1.5. True prototypes for the original new face teddies. Albeit, minimal differences, but still extremely neat. And so rare to have a complete set salvaged set. Ty made a partner set for his production Old Face teddies – previous post. Pictures below of both sets.
