Peanut the TIE-DYED(!) elephant Prototype!

Peanut is without a doubt one of the most coveted production pieces. Known as the “crown jewel” piece – the “King” of beanies. Today, a MQ production (US) example will typically command $1500-$2500. A German or Korean example can see prices double that. So a Peanut prototype is an exquisite piece to behold. As we know, when Ty played around with colors, especially changes post introduction, we see his mind at its wildest in prototype designs. This is no exception. Below please find pictures of a TIE-DYED Peanut Prototype! This is a piece that fell onto collectors’ radars in 2004 around Proto Gate. The original owner held on to the piece for almost 20 years, before they agreed to release it. Feast your eyes below:)

Rarity Rank: 0/-.5 A full departure TIE-DYED example of the rarest style. The piece is complete with pax tags (tush and hang!) and has a neon pastel coloring.
