No you’re not looking at Sammy. This is in fact the oldest known prototype for the original 1st generation polar bear, Chilly! The piece is completely tie-dyed from head to toe, outside of his white nose/snout, and signature black nose and eyes. Complete with mint pax hang and tush tag, this piece is extraordinary. Imagine if Ty had pushed forward with this design. The tie-dyed material is in line with the original Garcia fabric – we have seen this specific fabric used on other early original 1st generation pieces.
