Still in a Nana mood as we continue to share Ty’s most favorite style. This Nana prototype is striking for so many reasons. First, it is the only example with a royal blue face, and only the second example with red body + white extremities. This piece is perhaps the most visually striking Nana (in our opinion) comprised of primary colors. Also intriguing is the Pax tag location – on nana’s arm! Even more interesting, the pax tag date on this piece, 11.24.93, is in fact the earliest pax date for any known Nana prototype! It is certainly a bit more outside of the two-toned color pattern Ty pushed forward with in later prototypes, and final production.
