Nana the Mint Green and Light Pink PROTOTYPE Monkey

Winding down our Nana proto love affair (well, Mr. Warner’s love affair:) – this gorgeous Nana prototype is a full alternate with HIPPITY mint green fabric – a fabric that had not made it into released pieces until the release of Hippity in Jan. of 1997. We have seen the fabric pop up on a few 1st-3rd gen prototypes, including this exquisite Nana, with light pink face + extremities. It seems Ty was waiting for the perfect piece to introduce with this fabric. Hippity (and the other rabbits in the trio) are among the most memorable pieces in the hobby! This piece is complete with MQ pax hang tag (12.12.93 dates) + pax tush tag.

Rarity Rank: -.5/-.75 As with the other Nana prototypes to survive, this is a stunning piece – 1993 pax tags, original Nana style, all pax tags, and an insane full color departure that makes you stop in your tracks! You may be wondering why so many extreme Nana prototypes were made + survived. Two theories. 1st – Nana, we understand, was among one of Ty’s most favorite styles. 2nd – it is also likely Ty had no intention of ever releasing Nana in such wild color combinations, and instead used the style (his favorite) to see how fabrics looked in conjunction with each other to be used on a future style. But then again, we saw Ty was extraordinarily close to releasing Nana in a wild red and cream combination, as we saw in the 1995 mid-year introduction flyer.
