Garcia is one of the most iconic and notable styles in the hobby. Released originally with a 3rd generation tag, and then retired prematurely on account alleged copyright disputes with the Jerry Garcia estate, this guy was the first tie-dyed Teddy in the hobby. It is always fun to find a full color departure with a color patch corresponding with the eventual production fabric. And that is what we have here! Hoping to add additional photos, but this piece is a full departure with all pax tags. This guy holds a soft spot in our tie-dyed hearts.

This piece ‘screams’ prototype, and was one of the earlier prototypes that ignited the passion this blogger has for neat vintage prototypes in the hobby.
