In a bit of a patch mood:). This is a stunning original prototype for Ally the alligator – the 1st generation original alligator. Like with the previously reviewed Speedy wit patch, we have a similar type of prototype – a solid green Ally, with a patch of the eventual fabric that covered most of Ally’s head and body. This was likely Ty’s way of seeing if Ally would look good with this particular patch fabric. This piece unfortunately has no pax hang tag, but does have the pax tush tag. There are several known prototypes for Ally, but this, we believe, is the earliest example.
Rarity Rank: 1. Similar to Speedy, Ally is not the most popular 1st generation style. And unfortunately this piece does not have a dated pax hang tag, but this is still such a remarkable piece to have had survive.
