Is this Goldie, or a clown fish? There are actually quite a few early fish prototypes – many were displayed at the Tyriffic Stores. This is the only “Goldie” prototype with pax tags with corresponding dates that indisputably give this piece a Goldie designation. Goldie, a 1st generation release, and the original fish beanie in the line, has a killer white stripe around her body. Complete with pax tush tag and hang tag. Killer early 1992 pax date. An incredible piece.
Rarity Rank: 1. Similar to Speedy and Ally, Goldie is not a popular ‘rare’ 1st generation style. But this piece does have all pax tags, and earlies pax dates. And is the only known surviving prototype of Goldie with a pax tags. There are a handful of surviving prototypes for later released fishes, Coral and Bubbles.
