Quackers is one of the most famous and beloved original beanies on account of all the chaos around his wings and his name – QuackER or QuackERS (or Quacks)? Originally released WITHOUT wings (June 1994) with a 1st generation hang tag – then retired in the second generation where his winged counterpart arrived in January of 1995, this winged Quackers has a RED beak, feet, and eye brows! Complete with pax tags and a date of January 1994. This predates the release of the original wingless example, so it means that Ty very early on, or even before/alongside the wingless version, considered giving Quackers wings!
Rarity Rank: 1.5 A strong departure for a very iconic piece – albeit not in wingless form. This guy is such a quacking treat – all pax tags, wings, early pax dates, etc. Still – a 2nd generation piece, and not a FULL departure from production release. This reminds us of the green-billed wingless “Quacks” prototype example we reviewed some time ago.
